ABOUT SB WOOD STUDIO

SB Wood Studio is a small wood craft workshop located in La Rioja, which was born from the passion for nature, for the simple. Decorative pieces made with organic materials through highly artisanal processes.

STUDY AND INSPIRATION

In this studio there is no room for computer design or automatic cutting. We work with paper and pencil, pulse cutting and hand sanding. Using natural and ecological dyes, as well as waxes that protect but allow the wood to breathe. SB Wood Studio's pieces accompany you on a walk through the forest from the armchair of your home. They take you to reconnect with your authentic self. To connect with the wild.

I'm Sara and I live in the north of Spain. I would like to tell you how I got here.

I studied Mechanical Engineering and I have been working in this field during all my working life.
For some years now, and whenever work allowed me to do so, I carved and made wooden pieces, as handmade as possible.

I must admit that the times immersed in the wood gave me the
moments of peace and disconnection that I needed so much in the whirlwind of the
day to day.

Having done all my life what I was supposed
to do, one day I stopped to think about what I really wanted to do. This is the reason why I decided to stop, give the weight it deserves to what made me feel good and open the doors of my small workshop SB Wood Studio

When I look and touch the wooden pieces I create, they take me back to nature, to the simple. To a walk in the woods. To reconnect with my authentic self and to escape from the established. To connect with the wild.

There is nothing that makes me more excited than to be able to transmit you these sensations and emotions through my works.
