Gros Lamp - GAZTE Family

The Gros lamp comes from the GAZTE (in Spanish: Joven) product family, each family is characterised by the shapes, stories and functions of the lamps that make it up. Gazte, refers to the city where Jesus (Baku craftsman) spent his youth, and is closely related to Donostia, San Sebastian. Gros, is like a small Donostia.

Material and creation process:

All the lamps in the catalogue are designed and manufactured by Baku Barrikupel and are always unique because the material is unique. Baku Barrikupel is a project to reuse materials that have reached the end of their useful life. We design and manufacture decorative and functional elements applying eco-design throughout the process. Our products are manufactured in a small handicraft workshop one by one.

This piece is made of oak wine barrel, pine plywood and PVC. The packaging of our lamps is also made by Baku. It is a reused wooden box made to measure for each lamp. This way we can close the circle of Ecodesign, as the aim is that these boxes do not end up in the rubbish, reuse them! We are sure that with a bit of imagination you will find a function for them.

All Baku Barrikupel lamps are made to order. From the time we receive your order until it leaves our workshop, it takes us a maximum of 5 working days.

Measures and Types of Gros:

The wooden structure measures 28cm in height and 15cm in length and width (diameter). 

The idea is to choose a type of lamp between the 2 Gros models and to choose a type of light (normal bulb or diffuser tube).

Normal bulb:

The light in vintage bulbs is an option we offer, but we leave the choice and purchase of the bulb in the hands of the customer. Lamps that are chosen with Bombilla light, include a lamp holder, cable and mains connections.

The only requirements that the vintage bulb must meet are:

E27 socket

Do not exceed 70mm in diameter.
