Once the product is assembled, it has a tray that can be converted into a lectern or keyboard support when used as a stand. Whether you remove the tray to work sitting or place it in the center of the piece to use it as an accessory to work standing, there is always a top piece to be able to continue using it as a stool or table.
Material and creation process
Handcrafted in Girona with 5 pieces of plywood of 9 mm. + 5 tubillons. The birch plywood will last a lifetime, but over time it will take on a slightly more golden color. To recover the original color of the Escambell, brush the wood with 240 grit sandpaper.
Includes a portable tray to place the computer in.
Inspiration and History
L'Escambell is a wooden stand that turns any table into a desk to work standing up with your laptop. It can also be a stool, a side table or a lectern.
DEBOSC is a family fascinated by wood. The idea came from Lluís, the father, who wanted to find new ways of relating to the material he has always worked with and which is a vital part of the everyday landscape in his village, Anglès (Girona).
